About ISEE

Regional Societies

The International Society for Ecological Economics supports the efforts of an expanding number of regional societies of ecological economics. We encourage all members of ISEE to join a regional society (if one is available) or to join with other members to form a regional society (if one does not yet exist in your region). Contact the secretariat to find out which is your regional society. Regional societies of ecological economics include:

ANZSEE Australia-New Zealand Society for Ecological Economics
ASAUEE Asociación Argentino Uruguaya de Economía Ecológica
ASEE African Society for Ecological Economics
CANSEE Canadian Society for Ecological Economics
ECOECO–BRAZIL Brazilian Society for Ecological Economics
ESEE European Society for Ecological Economics
INSEE Indian Society for Ecological Economics
RSEE Russian Society for Ecological Economics
USSEE United States Society for Ecological Economics

There is also a non-affiliated Chinese Ecological Economics Society and the REDIBEC, Red Iberoamericana de Economia Ecologica.

To promote understanding between economists and ecologists in the development of a sustainable world.
