Neva Goodwin

Neva Goodwin is Co-director of the Global Development and Environment Institute at Tufts University (www.gdae.org). She is the lead author on the introductory, college level textbooks, Microeconomics in Context and Macroeconomics in Context, which are being published in the U.S. by Houghton Mifflin. (Russian and Vietnamese editions of Microeconomics in Context also exist.) Her goal is to provide humane, ecologically sensitive alternatives to the narrow and increasingly irrelevant economics teaching materials to which too many students are now exposed.
