Jeroen C.J.M. van den Bergh

Jeroen van den Bergh is Professor of Environmental Economics in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and Professor of "Water, Nature and Space" in the Institute for Environmental Studies, both Free University, Amsterdam. He was awarded the Royal/Shell Prize 2002 for his research on sustainable development, environment and resources. His current interest is to apply evolutionary and behavioural economics to environmental policy issues. His past work has focused on integrated spatial modelling of ecosystem management and incorporating material flows in economic models.
