ISEE holds a biennial conference on even numbered years. The biennial conference provides an excellent opportunity for members to meet other ecological economists, test their ideas by presenting papers, and participate in the governance of the Society.
ISEE 2008 OFFICIAL SITE
Nairobi, Kenya, 7-11 August 2008
The ISEE is pleased to announce that its 10th Biennial Conference has been scheduled for August 7-11,2008 in Nairobi Kenya.
The conference, "ISEE2008 NAIROBI: APPLYING ECOLOGICAL ECONOMICS FOR SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY" is a joint undertaking by the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE), African Society for Ecological Economics (ASEE) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Achim Steiner, Executive Director of UNEP, is pleased to confirm the venue for the Nairobi event, which will be held in United Nations conference facilities. Principal organizers of the conference are Peter May, ISEE President, Kevin Urama, President, ASEE and Anantha Duraiappah, Chief, Ecosystem Services Economics Unit, UNEP.

ISEE 2006
The Ninth Biennial Conference of ISEE, 'Ecological Sustainability & Human Well-Being', was held in Delhi, India from the 15th to the 19th December 2006.
